Mitchell’s Place Junior Board is a supporting organization comprised of young professionals, ages 21-38. It is the goal of the Mitchell’s Place Junior Board to help provide support, assistance, and increased awareness about autism spectrum disorder to the Birmingham, Alabama community. The Junior Board supports Mitchell’s Place through building relationships in the community, being a social media ambassador, organizing fundraising and awareness events, volunteering for various events throughout the year and being an advocate for autism spectrum disorder families.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. If the Junior Board is full, interested professionals will be added to the Junior Board wait list. Members in Waiting have priority to membership when a current member steps down or becomes inactive.
