At Mitchell’s Place, we offer Advocacy Services for parents seeking support in meeting their child’s educational needs in the public school system. Our advocacy services strive to educate parents about the special education process, equipping them with knowledge to understand their rights, their child’s rights, and the confidence to make well-informed choices about their child’s educational journey.

Additionally, our advocate can attend in person meetings while developing an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) with their school system. overall, our goal is to educate on the special education process and provide support in real time when developing a special education program that is individualized for each student.
