Director of Outpatient Services: Jan Hanson, M.A., L.P.C.

Jan Hanson received a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) before going on to earn a Master’s Degree in Counseling from UAB. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has worked in the Mental Health arena for more than 25 years for organizations such as Glenwood, UAB Psychiatry and Gateway. Ms. Hanson’s primary areas of interest are Administration and Program Supervision. Ms. Hanson oversees all Outpatient Services at Mitchell’s Place and Glenwood.
