Developmental Psychologist: Sandra Cluett Redden, Ph.D.

Dr. Sandra Cluett Redden received her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from The University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed her post doctoral work at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill’s Center for Development and Learning. Her education includes a concentration on both the research and clinical aspects of working with young children with developmental disabilities and behavioral and emotional concerns. Upon completion of her training and education, she served as a Clinical Research Professor at the Center for Development and Learning at UNC, overseeing the Preschool Evaluation Clinic.  She later served as a psychologist for Glenwood, Inc., where she focused on assessment and treatment of children with autism and other disabilities in a variety of settings.

Dr. Redden’s clinical interests include the assessment and treatment planning for children with developmental disabilities, more specifically Autism Spectrum Disorders as well as other areas of disabilities. Dr. Redden has been with Mitchell’s Place since its opening in 2005.
